Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) storage tanks are composed of the tank body, instruments, pipelines, valves, etc. The LNG storage tanks are designed with two liquid inlet methods, the upper and lower sections, allowing for selection based on actual conditions.
The inner tank of the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) storage tank is equipped with a safety system consisting of dual safety valves. Under normal operation, one set is in active use while the other is on standby. In the event that the active safety valve trips, the manual pressure relief valve is immediately opened to depressurize below the tank's operating pressure. Simultaneously, the safety device is swiftly switched to the standby system, effectively ensuring the tank's safety. This safety system is composed of safety valves, explosion-proof devices, vent valves, and three-way ball valves, which not only reduce pipeline welding but also feature excellent fire and static electricity prevention structures. Additionally, the safety relief ports on the shell are designed to ensure the overall safety and reliability of the equipment. Section 3: Inspection, Testing, and Acceptance
1. Inspect the inner cylinder material; usage is permitted upon passing inspection.
2. All welds are inspected in accordance with the GB150.1-150.4-2011 standards and drawings. Upon passing the inspection, A and B class welds undergo 100% X-ray testing, C and D class welds are subjected to 100% penetrant testing, and a test report is issued.
3. After the cylinder assembly is complete, inspect the geometric dimensions, pipe end orientation, and shape deviations according to the GB150.1-150.4-2011 standards and drawings.
4. After passing the inspection, conduct a pressure test and issue a pressure test report. Once the pressure test is approved, proceed with vacuum extraction. After achieving the required vacuum level, perform a helium leak test.
5. After interlayer leak detection passes, fill with pearlescent sand and then vacuum pump. Seal and maintain the vacuum degree once it reaches the requirements of GB/T18442-2011 standard.
