LNG storage tanks, also known as LNG vessels, are specialized low-temperature liquid pressure vessels designed for the storage of liquefied natural gas.

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is formed when natural gas is cooled under atmospheric pressure to -162°C, transforming from a gaseous to a liquid state.

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is colorless, odorless, non-toxic, and non-corrosive. It primarily consists of methane, and also includes a certain amount of ethane, propane, and heavier hydrocarbons.
