The classification of screw-driven shutdown devices is incredibly diverse. For instance, manual hand-crank shutdown devices, hand-held/electric dual-use shutdown devices, side-tilt shutdown devices, direct-drive shutdown devices, and various other mechanical shutdown devices in the series. Different shutdown devices offer a wide range of functionalities, often causing confusion during selection, which can severely impact their operation. During use, different shutdown devices have many varied functions, so it's crucial to choose the appropriate one for operation.

Screw-type gate valve installation and maintenance:

1. Ensure the base layout plane is level at 180°; the contact area between the machine base and the base layout plane must exceed 90%; the screw shaft axis must be perpendicular to the horizontal plane measured on the gate platform; it should also be perpendicular to the gate hinge holes to avoid screw shaft tilting and resultant localized stress that could damage the machine components.

2. Place the shuttering machine at the installation location. Fit a stopper disk onto the screw, then thread the screw into the shuttering machine from the bottom of the beam. Once the screw is visible above the machine, put the stopper disk on. The bottom of the screw is connected to the gate.

3. The installation of the foundation building for the opening and closing machinery must be firm and safe. The concrete for the machine base and foundation components must be cast according to the drawings. It is strictly prohibited to remove or alter the temporary supports for the opening and closing machinery before the concrete reaches the designed strength, and it is also forbidden to conduct trial adjustments or trial operations.

4. Install the opening and closing machine such that it aligns with the centerline of the gate's lifting, ensuring the longitudinal and transverse centerline deviations are no more than ±3mm, and the elevation deviation is no more than ±5mm. Subsequently, pour the second-stage concrete or connect it to the pre-buried steel plate.

5. Installation of electrical equipment for actuators and closures complies with the specifications of the drawings and manuals, with all electrical equipment properly grounded.

6. Upon completion of the installation of each opening and closing machine, clean the machinery, repair any damaged protective paint, and lubricate with grease.
