In July 2019, the market issued an implementation announcement regarding the transition of explosion-proof electrical products and others from production licenses to mandatory product certification.
The announcement clearly states that as of October 1, 2019, explosion-proof electrical equipment, household gas appliances, and residential refrigerators with a rated capacity of over 500L are included in the scope of the CCC certification management.
And the transition period is one year, starting from October 1, 2020, for the above products, which have not obtained the mandatory product certification certificate or failed to display the mandatory certification mark.
Not for sale, distribution, import, or use in any business activity.
This means that in the future, enterprises applying for explosion-proof certification will be required to undergo the CCC mandatory certification, and will be executed in accordance with the implementation rules of the CCC mandatory certification.
