Calcium Oxide Pellet Press, also known as Quicklime Pellet Press, is a machine that compresses calcium oxide (quicklime) powder into spherical shapes. Its primary use is to pelletize powdered calcium oxide material to reduce dust, control bulk density, and improve transportation characteristics.
Working Principle
The main model of the calcium oxide briquetting machine is the roller forming machine, commonly referred to as the "goose egg machine." It features a pair of cylindrical mold wheels with parallel axes, equal diameters, and a certain gap between them. The mold wheels have many hemispherical cavities of the same shape and size arranged in a regular pattern. Driven by an electric motor, the two mold wheels rotate at the same speed in opposite directions. When the material falls between the two mold wheels, it begins to be compressed at the junction, causing volume compression between the corresponding hemispherical cavities. As the mold wheels continue to rotate, the cavities gradually close, and the molding pressure gradually increases, reaching a high point when the distance between the cavities is small. Then, as the mold wheels rotate, the cavities gradually separate, and the molding pressure rapidly decreases, causing the formed briquettes to expand and脱离.
