I. Usage
The screw conveyor, also known as a auger, is a device that uses a spiral shaft rotating blades to push materials for conveying. It features a simple structure, reliable operation, ease of operation, and maintenance.
Section 2: The main structure is also operational
The screw conveyor is composed of a harmonic drive reducer, a coupling (or sprocket and chain), a spiral shaft, intermediate hangers, bearing bases, troughs, and supports. The spiral shaft rotates via the reducer and coupling, causing the material entering the spiral casing to move along the trough due to its own gravity and friction against the casing, without rotating with the spiral, thereby achieving smooth material transport.
Section 2, 219 Tube Type Axial Spiral Conveyer Performance Parameters
Hengtai Machinery's 219 pipe-type shafted screw conveyors are all made from GB standard seamless pipes, available in materials such as carbon steel, manganese steel, 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, and 310L stainless steel.
Shell thickness is generally 6MM, with increased thickness required for abrasive materials. Blades are made of 16Mn steel, with thickness ranging from 4mm to 12mm, custom cut according to customer specifications. Blade diameter is 187mm, pitch is 180mm, with an allowable tilt angle of 60 degrees. Vertical usage height should not exceed 6 meters, and the maximum conveying distance is 25 meters. A middle suspension bearing is added every 3 meters, which has been significantly improved over the older model products. The material for the suspension bearing is chilled cast iron, known for its strong wear resistance and good practical performance, typically requiring no lubrication or maintenance, and can withstand working temperatures up to 260°C. Particularly suitable for conveying materials such as cement, coal powder, fly ash, quicklime, slag, etc. The drive usually employs a cycloid reducer, and the motor is a first-tier brand. Both the motor and reducer can be customized according to customer requirements.
