The YCD-HX type star unloader is commonly used in pneumatic conveying systems. For pressure conveying systems or negative pressure conveying systems, the star unloader feeds the conveying pipe evenly and continuously, ensuring that the gas-solids ratio in the conveying pipe remains stable, thereby enabling normal operation of the pneumatic conveying process. Additionally, it effectively isolates the upper and lower pressure of the unloader, acting as a gas lock. Therefore, the star unloader is a crucial component frequently used in pneumatic conveying systems.
The star discharge valve, also known as a discharge valve, rotary feeder, or lock-gas valve, typically consists of a rotor impeller with several blades, a housing, seals, and a reducer, as well as an electric motor. As the material in the upper hopper falls by gravity and fills the gaps between the blades, it is discharged from the top as the blades rotate. Thus, the star discharge valve can discharge material quantitatively and continuously.
