Applications
Convoflex®'s PTFE thickness is moderate, suitable for the transportation and suction of solvents, pigments, flavors, fragrances, and paints in chemical and cosmetic factories. It is particularly ideal for sealing joints with PTFE flanges to prevent corrosion risks to materials other than PTFE. The outer polypropylene woven mesh has a wider corrosion-resistant range than metal woven mesh, lower thermal conductivity, and is safe for hands and the internal PTFE tube. The CXP resistance R≦106Ω is suitable for large-volume transmission of high resistive fluids to prevent the risk of charge buildup. It is not suitable for molten alkali metals and halogens at high temperatures.

Convoflex® Series medium-duty corrugated PTFE pipes, with outer polypropylene braid protection, food-grade, high-flow design, easy drainage and cleaning internally, highly corrosion-resistant, and enhanced impermeability. Suitable for conveying and suction of chlorides. Ideal for rolling PTFE onto the sealing face of the joint to achieve a full PTFE fluid contact surface, preventing corrosion risks to materials other than PTFE. The outer polypropylene braid has a wider corrosion-resistant range than metal braid, lower thermal conductivity, and is non-abrasive to the hands and the internal PTFE pipe. CXB resistance R≦106Ω.
