Can a domestic NEPSI explosion-proof certification be converted to an international IECEx certification?
Domestic explosion-proof certifications cannot be directly converted to IECEx certifications. This is because the domestic explosion-proof certification standards (GB/T3836) are essentially direct references to the international IECEx explosion-proof certification standards (IEC60079). Therefore, possessing a NEPSI certification does not allow for direct conversion to an IECEx certification.
