Shenzhen Zhongnuo Testing Technology Co., Ltd. specializes in the calibration, certification, and measurement services for gas alarms, flammable gas detectors, toxic and harmful gas detectors, and other equipment, serving various locations across China. We address electrical safety and explosion-proof fire prevention issues for clients, contributing to safe production.
Measurement Instrument Control
Instrument control includes calibration, subsequent calibration, and in-service inspection.
Which gas detectors require regular calibration and verification?
Fixed-install, handheld, and portable gas detectors, gas alarm instruments, toxic and harmful gas detectors/alarm systems, flammable gas detectors/alarm systems, gas analyzers, etc.
Gas Standard Material
We use gas standard substances of the same type as the gas measured by the instrument, such as methane or ethane, or gas standards can be expanded with isopropanol, etc. If the instrument does not specify the type of gas being measured, the concentration of the gas at the set point for methane, ethane, or other gases is approximately 60% of the full scale. The uncertainty of the expanded gas standard substance is not more than % (k-body standard substance greater than ±1%). The flow indication error of the repetitive dilution device should not be greater than 0.%. The concentration unit of the gas standard substance should be converted to match the unit of the instrument being tested when in use.
How often should various gas detectors be periodically tested and calibrated?
Instrument recalibration is typically every 1 year, determined by the submitting unit based on actual usage. During the secondary calibration process, recalibrate the instrument if there are questions about the test data, if the main components of the instrument are replaced, or if it needs to be recalibrated after repairs.
Shenzhen Zhongnuo Testing Technology Co., Ltd. is a third-party institution specializing in electrical safety, electrical explosion-proof, gas alarm, and toxic gas detection instrument calibration, metrological verification, and regular inspections. We provide certification services to address fire and explosion prevention issues for our clients.
