A drag chain, also known as a cable or wire protection drag chain, is a device that confines cables, wires, or pneumatic or hydraulic pipes to facilitate their rotation and movement.
The chain guides are divided into steel chain guides and plastic chain guides. The steel chain guides are made of steel and aluminum and can be customized, while the plastic chain guides are also known as engineering plastic chain guides. Chain guides are categorized into three types based on different usage environments and requirements: bridge-type, fully enclosed, and semi-enclosed. Rectangular metal flexible hoses, protective sleeves, corrugated pipes, and metal flexible hoses can also be included in chain guide protection and mobile power supply products. Chain guides are used in reciprocating motion applications and can provide traction and protection for cables, oil tubes, gas tubes, water pipes, and other internal components. Chain guides have been widely applied in industries such as CNC machine tools, electronic equipment, glass machinery, injection molding robots, conveying machinery, plastic machinery, lifting equipment, woodworking machinery, automotive industry, industrial vehicles, metal processing machines, machine tools, casting machinery, and port equipment.
The chain is composed of numerous individual links, which rotate freely between each other.
The inner height, outer height, and pitch of the chain are the same within the same series, while the inner width and bend radius R can vary.
Each unit link consists of left and right chain plates, as well as top and bottom covers. Each section of the chain can be opened for easy assembly and disassembly. Wiring is not required. After lifting the cover, cables, oil tubes, air hoses, water pipes, and other components can be placed into the drag chain.
Each link of the chain can be designed to be removable for easy installation and maintenance. It operates with low noise and is wear-resistant, allowing for high-speed movement.
Additional separator plates are available to divide the space within the chain as required.
Available in: steel drag chains, steel-aluminum drag chains, plastic drag chains, stainless steel drag chains, nylon drag chains, etc.
Form types include: bridge chain, multi-link bridge chain, enclosed chain, noise-reducing chain, open chain, S-shaped chain, universal joint chain, cable pull-through chain, etc. Environmental requirements: oil-proof, waterproof, resistant to debris contamination, acid and alkali resistance, high-temperature resistance, wear resistance, extended length needed, load-bearing capacity required, noise-free, cable concealment needed.
Assembly Types: Bridge-Type Cable Carrier, Full-Enclosed Cable Carrier, Semi-Enclosed Cable Carrier.
1. Suitable for reciprocating motion applications, it provides traction and protection for internal cables, oil pipes, gas pipes, water pipes, and more. 2. Each section of the chain can be opened for easy installation and maintenance. It operates quietly, is wear-resistant, and can move at high speeds. 3. The chain has been widely used in CNC machine tools, electronic equipment, stone machinery, glass machinery, door and window machinery, injection molding machines, robotic arms, lifting and transportation equipment, and automated warehouses.
