Suitable for rectangular cross-section profiles such as square tubes, square bars, strip steel, and various metals and non-metals, this process includes rust removal, sandblasting, and 8K mirror polishing on the outer surface. Dry polishing is used, with a variety of abrasive tools available, including sandpaper disks, nylon wheels, sisal wheels, fabric wheels, PVA, and wool wheels. Multiple stages of coarse and fine polishing can be completed in one go. By modifying the shape of the polishing wheel, polishing can also be achieved on profiles with irregular cross-sections.
