Foreword:
The process of ore beneficiation from ore mining to concentrate powder production is a labor-intensive and energy-consuming operation with high mechanical wear. As resources decrease and production costs rise, there is an increasing emphasis on the recovery rate of iron powder. In recent years, there are generally two types of magnetic tailings recovery machines in China: drum-type magnetic separators and disk-type magnetic separators. The characteristics of tailings are low grade and large quantity. Drum-type magnetic separators have a smaller effective magnetic surface, resulting in a much lower recovery rate compared to disk-type magnetic separators, hence the disk-type magnetic separators are more widely used.
Our technical team, with the assistance of professors from Northeast University and mining experts from various regions, has developed a more complex composite magnetic system using magnetic separation technology and mobile magnetic field technology. We have successfully designed a new type of disk magnetic separator. Field applications have shown that compared to similar domestic products, it boasts high processing capacity, high recovery rate, low energy consumption, simple structure, and water-saving features, bringing significant economic benefits to users. High volume processing, high recovery rate, low water consumption.
Due to the composite magnetic system composed of technologies such as high-energy magnetism, the magnetic field around the disk is deep, with high field strength and large gradient. Compared to similar products in actual use, the recovery amount is significantly higher than theirs.2-3 times, due to the large amount of recycling, the mineral powder can contain sufficient water for unloading and washing the ore, thus saving water.
2. Easy to discharge material; magnets do not wear.
Utilizing mobile magnetic field technology, the attracted mineral powder, under the force of water, is automatically gathered and drawn close to the outer edge of the disk, as the outer edge of the disk is of the same magnetic pole (N or S), and then, based on the principle of like magnetic poles repelling each other, the scraper easily removes it, leaving a protective layer on the magnetic surface.
3. Simple structure, low energy consumption
Utilizes a standard cycloid pinion reducer with no complex speed regulation system or intricate inductive disk unloading device, offering energy savings compared to similar products.20%-50%. Overcomes fundamentally the drawbacks of disk loosening and shaft misalignment that exist in the mechanical structure due to unloading from the top of the disk. During operation of this equipment, no need to consider mechanical failures, except for regular lubrication and replacement of the scraper plate.

Product Model and Performance:
Our plant produces tailings recovery machines with disk diameters ofAvailable in three models: φ1200, φ1500, and φ1700. Customers can choose the appropriate model based on their required processing capacity, tailings magnetic concentrate grade, and installation space. The processing capacity is generally as follows: 70 cubic meters per φ1200 disk, 110 cubic meters per φ1500 disk, and 180 cubic meters per φ1700 disk (reference values; actual application should consider grade and concentration factors).
