How to Choose Home Use Gypsum Powder: Painting Gypsum: Mainly used for large-scale surface leveling on walls. Mix with water and stir well before use; do not mix with other materials. The recommended thickness for each coat is 0.5-1 cm (for single-layer application, the thickness should not exceed 2 cm; for thinner layers, it should not be less than 0.5 cm). The product's open time (i.e., working time) is about 1 hour, and the product must be used within this time frame. Do not add water to stir the product after initial setting. The drying time is 48 hours, and the interval between each application should be no less than 24 hours. Due to the lower strength and bonding power of painting gypsum compared to joint filling gypsum and high-strength gypsum powder, it is not suitable for filling line grooves, gypsum board gaps, coping, and reinforcement marking.
