Requirements for marine steel gangways
Material Requirements:
Galvanized steel ladder mats are made of cold-rolled steel plates with a thickness of 1.5-2.0mm, which should comply with the national standard "Technical Conditions for Carbon Structural Steel" (GB/700-70).
(2) Quality Requirements:
a. The hot-dip galvanized steel plank has dimensions ranging from 2000mm to 3000mm to 4000mm in length, 240mm in width, and 65mm in height; or 250mm in width and 50mm in height; or 300mm in width and 50mm in height.
b. Hot-dip galvanized steel plank dimensions: Length tolerance should not exceed ±3.0mm, width ±2.0mm, and hole flange height ±0.5mm. Anti-slip hole diameter (12mm x 18mm), hole spacing (30mm x 40mm), flange height 1.5mm.
c. The bending angle of the hot-dip galvanized steel plank's folded edge should be maintained at 90°, with the deviation not exceeding ±2°.
d. The surface of the hot-dip galvanized steel ladder should be flat, with a deflection not exceeding 3.0mm. e. Any burrs on the edges of the hot-dip galvanized steel ladder must be filed down.
f. The end plate and intermittent stiffener are reinforced with spot welding; the weld seams should remain flat.
