Numerical Control External Cylindrical Grinder MK1320

The MK1320 CNC External Cylindrical Grinder is pre-programmed according to machining requirements, and operates by issuing numerical information commands from the control system, primarily used for grinding the outer surfaces of cylindrical and conical shapes.
The MK1320 CNC External Cylindrical Grinder typically features high generalization and modularization, high precision, high rigidity, and high adaptability.
According to the different types of CNC external cylindrical grinding machines, batch processing of related parts for industries such as automotive, motorcycle, air compressor, bearings, aviation, and aerospace is applicable.
The CNC external cylindrical grinder is composed of components such as the bed, worktable, abrasive wheel stand, headstock, and tailstock.
1. Bed frame and workbench
The bed features large round holes and shark fin-shaped stiffeners, which, after long-term use, exhibit good dynamic and static rigidity for machine tools.
The workbench features an upper and lower surface for grinding conical shapes. The bed and the workbench guide rails use plastic-coated guides, which have a low friction coefficient. The workbench is directly driven by a servo motor to move the ball screw, ensuring smooth and reliable operation.
2. Sanding Wheel Stand
Grinding wheel speed is less than 35m/s, featuring high efficiency grinding, with the grinding head bearing a large package angle trapezoidal thrust ball bearing for high rotational accuracy. The grinding wheel frame movement (X-axis) is directly driven by a servo motor and ball screw, with a low resolution of 0.0005mm.
3. Headstand
The rotation of the headstock disc is driven by a variable-frequency motor to power the belt wheel, which causes the disc to turn. The disc speed varies steplessly between 40-500 r/min to accommodate grinding of workpieces with different diameters, materials, and requirements.
4. CNC Control Box and Electrical Cabinet
Independent CNC control box with LCD display, machine tool operation buttons, 1um band compensation switch, hand-crank pulse generator, etc.
5. End Face Gauge and Diameter Gauge
With a digital caliper on a CNC external cylindrical grinding machine, the measured values are automatically input into the CNC system. The CNC system sends signals to rotate the X-axis servo motor, driving the ball screw to the designated position. This ensures the dimension of the grinding workpiece is stably reached at the required location, with the size dispersion of batch-ground workpieces being less than 0.003mm.
