Battery-Specific Vacuum Ovens are vacuum ovens designed exclusively for the baking process of lithium-ion batteries. Due to the特殊性 of the oven material, specialized lithium battery ovens must possess characteristics such as resistance to strong acid and alkali corrosion, precise temperature control, efficient programmable operation, and stable safety.
Purpose; Due to the need for stringent control over moisture content within lithium batteries, moisture significantly impacts their performance, including voltage, internal resistance, and self-discharge. Excessive moisture content can lead to product scrapping, quality decline, and even product explosions. Therefore, multiple vacuum baking processes are required during the lithium battery production to treat the positive and negative electrode sheets, cells, and batteries, in order to remove as much moisture as possible.
The lithium battery-specific vacuum oven heats the battery or electrode sheet under atmospheric pressure for a period, converting moisture into steam; after evaporation, vacuum extraction removes the steam; nitrogen gas is then introduced to break the vacuum, maintaining a dry environment. During the actual baking process, the sequence of these three steps varies depending on different processes and usually requires multiple cycles.
