Large-scale water softening equipment uses cationic resin to soften the source water, primarily to adsorb calcium and magnesium ions (the main components of scale) from the water, reducing its hardness, and can be intelligently regenerable for continuous use. Water softening equipment, as the name implies, is designed to decrease water hardness, mainly by removing calcium and magnesium ions. In cases where the incoming water is from deep wells or has high water hardness, the use of water softening equipment helps to reduce the content of calcium and magnesium ions in the water, thereby decreasing the presence of these ions. Soft water systems are widely applicable in boiler softening and air conditioner softening, among others.
