At the CBE exhibition, there's a variety of beautiful glass bottle packaging materials. The frosted finish on cosmetic glass bottles is achieved by acid etching the surface of the glass through a solution and steam, making it semi-transparent. This process is particularly common in cosmetic glass bottles and also enhances the adhesion of subsequent processing. However, it's important to note that during the acid etching process, the fixture must fit the bottle mouth perfectly to avoid light leakage, which can affect the appearance. Electroplating on cosmetic bottles involves a chemical reaction to form a uniform and dense metal coating on the surface of the glass bottle.
After electroplating, glass bottles exhibit a metallic luster and texture. The process involves applying primer to the glass bottles, electroplating aluminum using an electroplating machine, and then applying topcoat. The finishes can be categorized into glossy electroplating, matte electroplating, gradient electroplating, and iridescent electroplating. Gold and silver for cosmetic packaging bottles are achieved by heating and attaching gold or silver foil to the packaging surface, providing a strong embossed feel and metallic appearance. Besides gold and silver, other colors like iridescent silver, blue gold, and red gold can also be done. Compared to screen printing, hot stamping and hot silver stamping place more emphasis on the reflection and expression of metallic shadows to light, giving the surface a more luxurious and high-quality feel.
