Polished stone, with its high hardness, cleanliness, design versatility, non-flammability, and glossy, vibrant color, is used for flooring in both public and private spaces. Polished stone is a decorative technique that has become increasingly popular in recent years, involving the mixing of natural river or sea pebbles or gravel with cement in a specific ratio, applying it to the subfloor, leveling it with a load-bearing tool, and then treating the surface adhesive to reveal the stone's natural texture.

Due to the varied colors and shapes of its raw materials, it can be used to create a multitude of patterns and designs, making it suitable for interior decoration and outdoor landscape shaping. Some large-area exterior wall renovations also utilize water-washed stone, exuding a natural, rustic feel.

Washing stone precautions:
1. Be mindful of the washed stone content; too little affects the appearance, and too much may not bond securely. For instance, with particles ranging from 3-5mm, an optimal content per square meter is 18-20kg.
2. Mix the gravel and cement thoroughly before adding water. Before laying, clean all debris from the concrete sublayer to prevent loose碎石 from becoming unfastened and cracking.
3. The interface between the washed stone surface layer and other paving materials can be connected with copper strips or PE separation strips to ensure the integrity of the washed stone edge line.
4. When flattening, use a trowel to gently tap and smooth the mixed slurry repeatedly to ensure thorough adhesion between the slurry and the base, allowing for even stone distribution. Outdoor construction temperatures should not fall below 4°C to prevent adverse effects on bonding and curing, which can lead to easy detachment.
5. Clean the surface promptly with a sponge when it's semi-dry and repair the stone aggregates.
6. Promptly ensure product protection, and once fully dried, apply water-based resin for waterproofing, stain resistance, and shine enhancement.

Water-washed stone is a very popular and attractive decorative material for buildings at present. It usually uses very natural stones as the main raw material and processes them through a series of techniques to enhance its overall aesthetic appeal, thus earning widespread praise.
