Characteristics and Uses: ND steel welding rod, also known as 09CrCuSb, is a low-hydrogen sodium-type welding rod with a 490MPa grade high strength, resistant to sulfuric acid dew point corrosion.

Ideal for all-position welding, DC reverse polarity, with excellent process performance. The deposited metal contains Cr, Cu, Sb, hence it exhibits excellent resistance to sulfuric acid dew point corrosion. Also boasts X-Ray properties and excellent crack resistance.

Welding for sulfuric acid dew point corrosion-resistant steels, such as ND steel, JNS steel, BNS steel, and 490MPa high-tension steel structures, including power plants, boilers, and flue gas desulfurization equipment for curing smokehouses.
Cautionary Notes:
(1) Preheat the solder wire to 300-350°C and dry for 1 hour before use.
(2) Maintain short arc lengths; use the backward-forward striking method to initiate arcs to prevent the formation of blowholes.
