Description

Design Features
The new generation adsorption dryer combines the advantages of pressure swing adsorption and temperature swing adsorption. It adsorbs (operates) under normal temperature and high steam partial pressure; and desorbs (regenerates) at higher temperatures and lower steam partial pressures. This means that the moisture adsorbed by the adsorbent during the adsorption process is completely removed during the regeneration process, thanks to the combined mechanisms of thermal diffusion from high-quality regenerative gas (heated and dried air) and low partial pressure.
◆ Adsorption: Wet air enters the A drying vessel from the lower pipe system through valve A1, flows upward through the adsorbent bed, and the dried air is discharged from the upper pipe system.
◆Regeneration/Air Blowing: A small amount of dry air (about 7%) is depressurized through the regeneration valve in the upper pipe system and then heated in the heater. This portion of heated air (referred to as regeneration gas) enters the B drying tank. The adsorbent in the B tank is regenerated and its drying capacity is restored. The regeneration gas is then discharged into the atmosphere through the lower pipe system, the B2 valve, and a silencer.
◆ Equal Pressure: After adsorbent regeneration is completed, the B2 valve closes, and the B drying tank gradually increases pressure to the online working pressure with precise switching.
◆ Switch: Open valve B1, close valve A1, open valve A2. Switch completed between dryers A and B, tank B enters adsorption, and tank A is depressurized for regeneration. The sequence, working time, and heating temperature are automatically controlled by the controller.
