Vibration and noise of various types can affect the surrounding environment, harm human health, damage buildings, and reduce the accuracy of machinery and equipment, particularly causing interference in the use of valuable instruments. Moreover, the vibration itself can damage the machinery, shortening its lifespan. Therefore, using elastic elements to isolate vibration and prevent its transmission is an ideal method to eliminate vibration and protect the environment, buildings, machinery, and equipment.
Our factory's damper design incorporates the characteristics of steel spring dampers, overcoming the resonance phenomenon that occurs when the damping ratio is low. It can protect the isolation rate from dropping when the damping ratio is increased to 0.15-0.18 (for a higher damping ratio of 0.085). Therefore, our damper maintains the low-frequency characteristics of steel spring dampers while achieving isolation effects on high, medium, and low interference frequencies. It also possesses the high damping ratio feature of rubber dampers, capable of eliminating the specific resonance phenomenon of steel springs. This results in no excitation (amplitude A=0.01mm) during equipment startup and shutdown, with a stopping time of 1.6 seconds. After installing the damper, the equipment can quickly pass over the resonance area during startup and shutdown without swinging, achieving an isolation effect of ≥85%. This damper does not require a large concrete base, can bear the total weight of the equipment, and can be installed on the ground, floors, and platforms without the need for anchor bolts, significantly reducing installation time. It is a simple, moderately priced, and cost-effective multi-functional universal damper with damping spring suspension.
Our vibration dampers are made with 60Si2Mn spring steel, which boasts advantages such as fatigue resistance, high strength, large load-bearing capacity, and long service life.
