Various vibrations and noises can affect the surrounding environment, harm human health, damage buildings, and reduce the accuracy of machinery and equipment, especially causing interference to the operation of valuable instruments. Moreover, the vibration itself can cause damage to the machine, shortening its lifespan. Therefore, using elastic elements to isolate vibrations and prevent their transmission is an ideal method to eliminate vibrations and protect the environment, buildings, machinery, and equipment.
Our damper design incorporates the characteristics of steel spring dampers, overcoming the phenomenon of resonance when the damping ratio is low. It can protect the vibration isolation rate from dropping when the damping ratio is increased to 0.15-0.18 (with a higher damping ratio of 0.085). Thus, our damper boasts the low-frequency characteristics of steel spring dampers, achieving vibration isolation for high, medium, and low interference frequencies while also having the high damping ratio characteristic of rubber dampers. This allows it to eliminate the specific resonance phenomenon of steel springs, ensuring there is no vibration (amplitude A=0.01mm) during the transition from start to stop, with a stopping time of 1.6 seconds. After installing the damper, the equipment can quickly pass through the resonance zone during start-up and shutdown, remaining stable without swaying. The vibration isolation effect is ≥85%, which makes this damper unnecessary to be anchored to large concrete bases, supporting the total weight of the equipment. It can be installed on the ground, floors, and platforms, and does not require anchoring bolts, thereby significantly reducing the equipment installation time. It is a simple, speed-appropriate, economically reasonable multi-functional general-purpose damper with a damping spring suspension design.
Our shock absorbers are made with 60Si2Mn spring steel, which boasts excellent fatigue resistance, high strength, great load-bearing capacity, and a long service life.
