A variety of vibration and noise can affect the surrounding environment, harm human health, damage buildings, and reduce the accuracy of machinery and equipment, particularly interfering with the use of valuable instruments. Moreover, the vibration itself can cause damage to the machinery, shortening its lifespan. Therefore, using elastic elements to isolate vibration and prevent its transmission is an ideal method to eliminate vibration, protect the environment, buildings, machinery, and equipment.

Our factory's shock absorber design incorporates the characteristics of steel spring shock absorbers, overcoming the resonance phenomenon that occurs when the damping ratio is low. It can protect the isolation rate from decreasing when the damping ratio is increased to 0.15-0.18 (for higher damping ratio, 0.085). Therefore, our shock absorber, with the low-frequency characteristics of steel spring shock absorption, achieves vibration isolation for both high and low interference frequencies while also possessing the high damping ratio characteristic of rubber shock absorbers. It can eliminate the unique resonance phenomenon of steel springs, thus ensuring smooth operation from start to stop without excitation (amplitude A=0.01mm) and a stop time of 1.6 seconds. After installing the shock absorber, the equipment can quickly cross the resonance zone during start-up and shutdown, maintaining balance without swaying. The vibration isolation effect is ≥85%, allowing this shock absorber to support the total weight of the equipment without the need for a large concrete base. It can be installed on the ground, floors, and platforms, and does not require anchor bolts for fixation, significantly reducing the installation time. It is a simple, moderately priced, and economically reasonable multi-functional universal damping spring shock absorber.
