Varying vibration and noise levels can affect the surrounding environment, harm human health, damage buildings, and reduce the accuracy of machinery and equipment, particularly causing interference with the use of valuable instruments. Moreover, the vibration itself can damage the machinery, shortening its lifespan. Therefore, using elastic elements to isolate vibration and prevent its transmission is an ideal method to eliminate vibration, protect the environment, buildings, machinery, and equipment.
Our factory's shock absorber design incorporates the characteristics of steel spring shock absorbers, overcoming the phenomenon of resonance when the damping ratio is low. It can protect the isolation efficiency from dropping when the damping ratio is increased to 0.15-0.18 (with a higher damping ratio of 0.085). Therefore, our shock absorbers possess the low-frequency characteristics of steel spring shock absorbers, achieving isolation effects at high, medium, and low interference frequencies while also having the high damping ratio feature of rubber shock absorbers. This allows for the elimination of the unique resonance phenomenon of steel springs, ensuring no excitation (amplitude A=0.01mm) during the transition from driving to stopping, with a stopping time of 1.6 seconds. After installing the shock absorber, the equipment can quickly cross the resonance zone during start-up and shutdown without swinging, maintaining balance, and achieving an isolation efficiency of ≥85%. This shock absorber does not require a large concrete base, can bear the total weight of the equipment, and can be installed on the ground, floors, or platforms. It can also be mounted without anchor bolts, significantly reducing the equipment installation time. It is a simple, speed-appropriate, and economically reasonable multi-functional universal damping spring shock absorber.
The shock absorbers produced in our factory use 60Si2Mn spring steel for their springs, offering advantages such as fatigue resistance, high strength, large load-bearing capacity, and long service life.
