MA-AA is a low molecular weight polyelectrolyte, synthesized by copolymerizing maleic acid with propenoic acid in a specific ratio. It exhibits strong dispersing properties towards carbonates and others, boasts high thermal stability, and can be used under harsh conditions like 300℃ high temperatures. It also has good compatibility and synergistic effects with other water treatment chemicals. It effectively inhibits the formation of scale, including phosphates. Due to its excellent scale inhibition and high-temperature resistance, MA-AA is widely used as a dispersant and scale inhibitor in low-pressure boilers, central heating systems, central air conditioning systems, and various circulating cooling water systems.
