Due to the harsh working conditions in the blast furnace tuyere area, it not only withstands high-temperature thermal loads but also endures iron erosion around 1500°C. Particularly when the furnace condition is poor and there is a high incidence of hanging and spilling material, the tuyeres are damaged. The damaged areas are mostly the lower and upper edges, or the sides. Most are caused by melting, although there are also cases of breakage or wear. Therefore, how to increase the service life of the tuyeres, reduce the labor intensity of workers, and improve production has become a widely concerned issue. In recent years, various new types of tuyeres have emerged, such as through-flow, surfacing, and co-deposition. Their common goal is to improve the purity of the copper in the tuyeres and refine the structure. This not only enhances the material purity to improve its thermal conductivity but also improves the structure to strengthen the cooling capacity, thereby achieving good results.
