Disinfection Product Registration and Testing
Disinfection Product Sanitary Safety Assessment
A comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness and hygiene safety of disinfection products, including product labels (plates), instructions, inspection reports, corporate or quality standards, health permits for producers (documents allowing production and sales overseas and customs declarations), product formulas of disinfectants, indicators, and antibacterial/antiseptic agents, as well as structural diagrams of disinfection equipment. The responsible entity for product liability must conduct a hygiene and safety evaluation before the product is launched for the first time, form a "Hygiene and Safety Evaluation Report for Disinfection Products," and be accountable for the evaluation results.
Product Liability Unit
Individuals, legal persons, and other organizations legally liable for compensating others for personal injury or property damage caused by product defects. In cases of entrusted production and processing, it specifically refers to the entrusting party, and the responsible entity for imported products is the entity in China responsible for such products.
Disinfection Product Category
High-level disinfectants and disinfection equipment for medical devices, sterilizers and sterilization equipment, skin/mucosal disinfectants, biological indicators, chemical indicators of sterilization efficacy.
Class II disinfection products
Disinfectants, disinfection equipment, chemical indicators, and packaging materials of sterilized items bearing sterilization markings, as well as antimicrobial (inhibitory) agents, excluding products of one category.

II. Other Commercial Inspections
Disinfection products, in addition to safety assessment and filing for detection, are required to conduct relevant pH, lead arsenic and mercury, active ingredient content testing, sterilization, and antibacterial property tests according to market demand (such as on e-commerce platforms). Household products with antibacterial and antimicrobial effects, such as laundry detergents, cleaners, and fresheners, need to undergo antibacterial and antimicrobial effectiveness testing; active ingredient content testing, minimum inhibitory concentration MIC, sterilization, and antibacterial property assessment are also necessary during the product development phase.
