Safety Pre-Operation Checks for Crane at the Dock
1. Equipment technical documents should be complete.
2. Inspect the equipment, materials, and accessories for model, specifications, and quantity according to the packing list, ensuring they meet the requirements of the design and technical documents for the equipment, and should include a factory acceptance certificate and test records upon shipment.
3. The equipment should be free of deformation, damage, and rust, with the wire rope specifically being free of rust, damage, kinks, loops, twists, cracks, and loose sections.
4. The coordinate positions, elevations, spans, and flatness of the ground track foundation for cranes, crane beams, and installed embedded parts, etc., should all comply with design and installation requirements.
5. Prior to laying steel rails, the end faces, straightness, and twist of the rails must be inspected, and only upon passing the inspection can they be laid.
Equipment specification installation is a crucial step, and safety inspections are the foundation of the installation process. Therefore, it is imperative not to overlook the necessary checks.
