Operating Principle:
Composed of rubber O-rings and Teflon rings. The raw material is Teflon nitrile rubber. In special cases, FKM fluoroelastomer is used for the rubber elastomer nitrile rubber, which, due to its own deformation, generates a high initial contact stress on the sealing surface, preventing the leakage of liquids under no pressure. During the operation of the hydraulic cylinder, the pressure fluid, after the sealing ring's elastic deformation, maximally compresses the square sealing ring, making it tightly adhere to the sealing surface, thus creating a high additional contact stress. This contact stress increases with the rise in pressure fluid pressure and, together with the initial contact stress, prevents the leakage of the pressure fluid.
Application Scope:
Hydraulic systems with reciprocating motion excel in heavy-duty, bidirectional piston sealing applications under both high and low pressure, as well as high-frequency conditions. Suitable for both long and short strokes, they can accommodate larger piston clearances in a wide range of fluid and high-temperature environments. For example, they are used in injection molding machines, bulldozers, agricultural machinery, presses, and other machine tools.
