It supports fat/thin AP modes, can operate independently, or be centrally managed via a smart wireless access controller. It provides wireless internet access on both ground and underground levels, features terminal positioning capabilities (supports coverage+probe or full-frequency probe), and transmits the signal strength of detected Wi-Fi terminals around to the positioning server (Position Server).

KT579IIC-A6 explosion-proof wireless base station has the explosion-proof rating Ex db IIC T6 Gb/Ex tb IIIC T80℃ Db. It is suitable for hazardous areas classified as Zone 1, 2, 20, or 21, and for environments with flammable gases or combustible dusts classified as IIA, IIB, or IIC, with temperature groups T1-T6. Applications include specific installation sites such as underground tunnels, mines, oilfield exploration, refining, aerospace, chemical industry, and offshore oil platforms, as well as environments prone to flammable and explosive gases and metal processing facilities with combustible dust.
