Water atomized iron powder refers to a fine mist-like powder obtained by striking molten iron at high temperatures with high-pressure atomized water through a specially designed nozzle. The powder is then processed through sorting, dehydration, drying, reduction, crushing, screening, batching, and packaging to form steel powder. Currently, after water atomized iron powder is separated from water, it still contains a large amount of moisture. If dried directly, it would significantly increase drying costs. Therefore, dehydration is necessary after sorting. The existing dehydration method involves using drum sieves or vibration sieves to remove moisture mixed with the water atomized iron powder. Due to the small particle size of the water atomized iron powder, the sieve holes of the drum or vibration sieve are difficult to meet the requirements, resulting in a large loss of water atomized iron powder and product waste, poor filtration effects; and the moisture-mixed water atomized iron powder has poor fluidity, tends to remain on the drum or vibration sieve, affecting production continuity.
