Laboratory Bench Control System Main Functions and Design Scheme:
1. Employ a closed-loop control system, collecting system operation information through sensors and other collection systems. The data is then input into the computer via data acquisition cards, where it's displayed and calculated according to control requirements. The output is controlled signals processed by data acquisition cards into signals recognizable by executing elements, which subsequently activate to achieve system control.
2. Utilizing a centralized computer control system, with PLC as the hardware and the WINDOWS system as the software platform. During the signal collection process, we gather both digital and analog signals. Therefore, we first need to convert the collected analog signals into digital signals that the PLC can process. After processing by the PLC, some of the output signals are then converted back to analog to control the experimental bench. This requires both A/D and D/A conversions. Hence, an integrated data acquisition card with both functionalities is needed to perform the A/D and D/A conversions.
