Equipment Application
The EDZX on-line filter device for loaded switches is mainly used for bypass and circulation filtering of insulating oil in loaded tap changers ranging from 35KV to 500KV. It is designed to be used with tap changers and can effectively remove free carbon, metal particles, impurities, and other particulate matter from the insulating oil within the tap changer while also absorbing a large amount of organic acids and reducing trace moisture. This significantly lowers the content of free carbon, metal particles, impurities, organic acids, and moisture in the insulating oil, enhancing the breakdown voltage and service life of the oil. It helps to bring the insulating oil within the tap changer to or close to the standard of new insulating oil, improving the safety and reliability of the loaded tap changers. It also contributes to increasing the number of operations of the tap changers, reducing the frequency of power outages, extending the maintenance cycle of equipment, improving the quality of power supply, implementing condition-based maintenance of equipment, enhancing the safety and operational level of the power grid, reducing resource waste and environmental pollution, and improving the economic benefits and management level of the enterprise.

Integrated oil circuit
The EDZX loaded switch online filter unit has all its components fully embedded in the CNC formed precision oil circuit. The structure is compact, with no internal pipe connections, minimizing the sealed areas, and all main sealing parts are designed with double seals. It utilizes stainless steel flanged hoses directly connected to the transformer's loaded tap changer's oil inlet and outlet flanges, providing convenience and reliability.
High-precision, second-stage separation filtration
EDZX's online filter device for loaded switches features a two-stage separation filter design. The primary stage uses a 1μm filter core to remove free carbon and other metallic particle impurities. The secondary filter core is equipped with high-performance active adsorption material, capable of removing moisture, organic acids, and other substances, thereby maintaining the insulating oil's excellent pressure resistance properties.
All-digital control
EDZX's online filter device for loaded switches employs a high-performance embedded dedicated digital controller. It features unique control algorithms, strong electromagnetic interference resistance design, and stable and reliable operation.
Simple and intuitive user interface
EDZX Load Break Switch Online Filter Device features a liquid crystal display, Chinese menu, convenient common function keys, user-friendly man-machine dialogue, intuitive interface, no need to memorize, and simple operation.
Recirculation overflow and pressure detection multi-protection
The EDZX loaded switch online filter device is equipped with an overflow valve and pressure detection limiting function; when the outlet pressure exceeds the opening pressure of the overflow valve, oil circulates internally through the overflow valve. In case the overflow valve fails, the pressure detection still serves as a limiting protection to stop the motor, safeguarding the system. The pump's suction port is fitted with a pressure sensor to prevent the motor from starting when the inlet valve is not open, thereby protecting the oil pump from damage.
Smart Temperature and Humidity Control
The EDZX loaded switch online filter unit automatically heats or cools when the temperature is below or above the set value (suitable temperature setting: 0~40℃), ensuring reliable oil filtering under various harsh temperature and humidity conditions in the environment, and achieving a 24/7 unattended monitoring and operation mode.
Gas online venting
The EDZX loaded switch online filter unit allows the inspection personnel to directly exhaust the gas inside the tap changer by utilizing the on-site gas release mechanism of the lube oil system during equipment inspections.
Online Replenishment Technology
When the oil level in a loaded switch drops due to long-term operation, the qualified insulation oil of the same type can be replenished into the body of the loaded tap switch through the lubrication mechanism of the filter oil system itself.
Visual Window Observation Feature
EDZX loaded switch online filter device is designed with oil filter before-and-after visual windows, allowing inspection personnel to observe the quality of the oil before and after filtering while inspecting the equipment.
Automatic alarm and lockout function
The EDZX loaded switch online filter device features self-diagnosis and maintenance alarm functions. When an alarm is displayed, the system automatically locks out and cannot be started. It will resume normal operation automatically after the fault is eliminated. In case of filter core blockage, staff must clean or replace the filter before starting the system oil filtration.
Power Failure Memory Retention Function
The EDZX loaded switch online filter device can automatically save and remember the set parameters and operating data during power failure.
