Performance & Applications

1. Easily soluble in water, the solution is milky white, not resistant to strong acids, bases, and reducing agents. It penetrates quickly and evenly, with good wetting, penetration, emulsifying, and foaming properties. The penetration effect is better below 40°C, and it is more prone to hydrolysis when exposed to alkalis at high temperatures. It is advisable to treat the fabric with a penetrant at temperatures below 40°C before increasing the temperature.

2. This product is an efficient penetrant, designed for treating cotton, linen, viscose, and their blended fabrics. The treated fabrics can be directly bleached or dyed without retting, improving dye defects caused by dead cotton, resulting in softer and fuller hand feel after printing and dyeing. During the grey and bleaching process, the sizing is removed first to ensure the penetration effect.

3. If too much foam is observed when using Penetrant T, a small amount of defoamer can be added, such as GP, octanol, or tributyl phosphate for defoaming.

4. For raw cotton dyeing; used for wettable powder pesticides.

Packaging and Storage

200Kg plastic drums, 50Kg plastic drums packaging. Stored and transported as general chemicals. Kept in a dry, well-ventilated area. Shelf life: 2 years.
