Performance & Applications

1. Easily soluble in water, the solution is milky white, not resistant to strong acids, bases, and reducers. It penetrates quickly and evenly, exhibiting good wetting, penetration, emulsification, and foaming properties. The penetration effect is optimal below 40°C; at high temperatures, it is prone to hydrolysis when exposed to alkalis. It is advisable to treat the fabric with a penetrant at temperatures below 40°C before increasing the temperature.

2. This product is an efficient penetrant, designed for treating cotton, linen, viscose, and their blended fabrics. After treatment, the fabric can be directly bleached or dyed without retting, improving dye defects caused by dead cotton, resulting in a softer and fuller hand feel of the printed and dyed fabric. During the grey fabric bleaching process, the sizing is removed first to ensure the penetration effect.

3. If too much foam is observed while using Penetrant T, a small amount of defoamer can be added, such as GP or octanol, tributyl phosphate, and the like for defoaming.

4. Used for raw cotton dyeing; suitable for wettable powder.

Packaging and Storage

Packaged in 200Kg or 50Kg plastic drums. Store and transport as general chemicals. Keep in a dry, well-ventilated area. Shelf life: 2 years.
