Vibration Aging TesterMaintenance and repair of major components
The vibratory aging motor is a critical component of the entire aging equipment, categorized by origin as: Zhejiang-made motors, Shandong-made motors, Baotou-made motors, and Shenyang-made motors. Among them, Baotou-made motors stand out due to their high purity of rare earth alloys and good quality. What should be noted during the use of these motors?
1. Excessive operating current.
The motor's starting current can reach above 2A, which is normal. However, during operation, the current should generally be kept below 2A. If the current is too high, stop the machine immediately to check for any mechanical failures in the motor. Do not continue to use it to avoid damaging the motor.
2. Parts must be cooled before aging.
The workpiece must be cooled before it can be mounted on the motor for aging treatment. If the workpiece temperature is too high, the heat can transfer to the motor, easily causing the grease on the internal bearings to volatilize rapidly, leading to insufficient lubrication of the bearings, increased operating current, and severe damage to the motor.
3. If the motor head aviation plug is damaged, it should be replaced promptly.
Aircraft power outlets should be replaced promptly if they crack or break; do not use tape to patch them up and continue using them, as it can easily cause a short circuit and burn out the controller.
4. Do not time-temper workpieces while the motor is self-vibrating. If the chosen placement for the motor is not suitable, the workpiece may not vibrate, but the motor's self-vibration will be evident. Immediate shutdown is required, and the motor should be adjusted to a proper position.
Avoid frequent use of the full automatic function.
Some manufacturers boast about their so-called high-tech fully automatic LCD display vibration aging equipment, emphasizing one-button automatic aging processing for each workpiece. They perform a sweep for every workpiece, but some unsuitable for sweeping repeatedly reach the motor's rated speed and are protected by stopping. This cycle accelerates the motor's wear and reduces its lifespan. Generally, Baotou-made motors have a lifespan of over 5 years. However, after using the so-called fully automatic LCD display vibration aging controller, the motor's lifespan is usually less than 2 years, and some manufacturers experience severe wear after about half a year, making them unusable.
