Vibration Stress Relief Equipment, also known as Vibration Stress Relief Method, involves subjecting workpieces (including castings, forgings, and welded structures) to vibration treatment for several minutes to several tens of minutes at their natural frequencies to eliminate residual stresses and stabilize dimensional accuracy. This process is characterized by its low energy consumption, short duration, and significant effects. In recent years, it has experienced rapid development and widespread application both domestically and internationally.
We have a large inventory to ensure a constant supply. Customers using our equipment can enjoy free on-site installation and debugging, as well as free technical training for their staff. We can also provide the necessary corporate qualifications, technical documents, and production certificates for the equipment. We aim to alleviate any customer concerns. The company has established multiple offices domestically, offering robust support for our after-sales service. We look forward to partnering with a wide range of customers to create a win-win situation together!
The vibration aging equipment consists of a controller, exciter, sensor, elastic pad, printing system, auxiliary tooling, and related connection lines. It is easy to operate and convenient to use. With the increasing awareness of energy conservation and emission reduction and the actual effectiveness of vibration aging technology, vibration aging equipment is increasingly applied in the production process and is an indispensable practical equipment for eliminating residual internal stress domestically. Practice has proven that replacing heat aging with vibration aging can save over 90% of energy, improve deformation resistance by over 30%, enhance size stability by over 30%, and increase fatigue life by over 20%. The aging time typically requires only 15-40 minutes and is not limited by the weight or size of the workpiece. It can be scheduled between any production steps. It has the advantages of low investment, low operating costs, and simple operation, and is increasingly used in the production and processing process.
Currently, the vibration stress relief equipment technology adopted by various countries is mostly resonance aging. This process involves securely holding the exciter in the appropriate position on the workpiece being treated, adjusting the excitation force according to the size and shape of the workpiece through the control part of the vibration equipment, and adjusting the excitation frequency according to the natural frequency of the workpiece until the signal received by the vibration sensor (tachometer or accelerometer) attached to the workpiece reaches a high value. At this point, it indicates that the workpiece has reached resonance. By continuing to vibrate in this state for a period of time, the purpose of stress relief and stable dimension accuracy can be achieved. As this process becomes more mature and vibration and control equipment becomes more refined, vibration aging has been widely adopted by more than a dozen industrialized countries. A stress relief company in the United States has conducted over 5,000 vibration aging treatments, with cost analysis showing it to be only 10% of thermal aging, making it a complete substitute for thermal aging. In the UK and West Germany, vibration aging is commonly used for the welding beams and frames of aircraft assembly jigs, and the Institute of Experimental Research on Metal Cutting Machine Tools in the Soviet Union has recommended the vibration aging process to various machine tool factories. Some large-scale and foundation components in heavy-duty machine tool factories have also adopted vibration aging. In recent years, China has made significant progress in the research and application of vibration aging. Actual usage shows that workpieces treated with vibration aging have good size accuracy stability, with vibration aging costs being about 10% of thermal aging and energy consumption less than 5% of thermal aging.
