Corrosion Inhibitory Fluorescent Coating (PRTV or RTV-Ⅱ) is a new type of electrical functional material, specifically designed to durably and thoroughly eliminate equipment flashover hazards for power grid and various power generation, transmission, and consumption customers; the product performance meets and exceeds the technical specifications of thermal sulfur-silicone rubber, with a designed service life of 20 years.
Product Features: This product's unique chemical composition and structure, combined with the application of modern polymer processing technology,
It features excellent hydrophobicity and rapid, even, and durable hydrophobic migration, as well as resistance to dirt and high pressure.
Electrical insulation with excellent properties, resistance to electrical erosion up to TMA4.5 grade, flame retardant to FV-0 level, and arc-resistant.
Effectively protects electrical porcelain equipment from damage under abnormal conditions; high modulus, high strength, strong adhesion, resistant to acid, alkali, salt, and strong oxidizing agents, good oil resistance; resistant to ultraviolet radiation, ozone, and environmental erosion, does not peel or crack, no need for cleaning during normal maintenance periods; in-situ molding, easy to use, meets the needs of on-site anti-pollution technical measures for power transmission and transformation equipment; anti-pollution products have good self-cleaning properties, and anti-icing products for transmission equipment are effective against icing and de-icing.
Technical standards and parameters for the product: Implementation of National Grid Corporation of China Construction and Operation [2006]1022 "Guiding Principles for the Use of Anti-Fouling Flashover Coatings for External Insulation of Cross-Regional Grid Transmission and Transformation Equipment of the State Grid Corporation." Application scope: This product is mainly used for external insulation anti-fouling flashover of insulators in power system substation and transmission lines, transformer equipment in power plants and power users, as well as other electrical equipment.
After applying this product to insulators, a composite insulator with porcelain (or glass) as the skeleton is formed, which is a reliable configuration solution for improving the external insulation of transmission and transformation equipment. Suitable for AC and DC systems at various voltage levels, power stations and overhead transmission line equipment operating under polluted conditions, external insulation anti-pollution, preventing flashovers, and enhancing the external insulation level of the equipment.
Application: It is recommended that this product be applied by a professional installer with the proper construction qualifications, during a power outage.
Prior to application, the surface of the insulation or reactor must be cleaned, free of dust, wax, oil, etc., and ensure it is dry.
The application can be done by spraying or immersion coating (solvent dilutable), and should be carried out on sunny days.
Coating thickness: 0.4~0.6mm, approximately 1kg-1.5kg per square meter. Cleaning and diluting materials can be banana water, Toluene, etc. for cleaning!
The coating should be intact, free of any defects, and without any sagging or dripping threads.
Packaging and Storage: This product is packaged in a sealed metal container, 5 liters. Keep dry and well-ventilated during storage and transportation, and protect from direct sunlight and rain. The storage period is 1 year. The product can still be used after re-inspection and approval if it exceeds the storage period. When opening the paint for use, if not all is used at once, seal it tightly immediately and it can be continued to use.
