I. Performance Features

1. This product is compounded of various surfactants and synergistic additives.

2. This product disperses in water and dissolves in most organic solvents, exhibiting strong emulsifying power.

3. The prepared chlorinated paraffin emulsion is finely stable and widely used in metal processing and flame-retardant industries.

Section II: Physical and Chemical Specifications

Appearance: Yellow thick liquid

Solid Content: ≥92%

pH Value: 5.0-7.0 (1% aqueous solution)

Recommended Dosage: 12%

Section 3: Emulsification Process

Mix 12KG of chlorinated paraffin emulsifier into 100KG of chlorinated paraffin, and stir thoroughly to obtain a transparent emulsion oil.

(2) While stirring, add water to the emulsion in batches, 5KG per batch, with a 1-minute interval between each addition.

⑶ Caution: The drop acceleration must be slow within 50 kg of water volume; otherwise, a liquid emulsion with small particle size cannot be obtained.

After adding a certain amount of water, the material turns from transparent to milky white with a blue sheen, and its viscosity increases sharply. At this point, ensure the overall uniformity of stirring to successfully transition the material from an oil-in-water to an emulsion-in-oil state.

After 50KG of water, you can gradually increase the rate of adding water. At this point, the material should have passed the sticky stage, becoming less sticky and thicker, with a blue sheen appearing on the container walls.

⑹ Determine the water amount based on the emulsion concentration to obtain a white, fine emulsion with a blue sheen.

Packaging and Storage

50kg plastic drum packaging. Store and transport as general chemicals. Keep in a dry, well-ventilated area. Shelf life: 2 years.
