Overview:
Model AKH-0.66/Double M8 100/5A, with a low primary current, capacity of 2.5VA or less for measurement or protection, commonly used in low-voltage drawer cabinets and other small spaces. The primary winding of the current transformer is connected in series with the measured line, with I1 representing the line current (primary current), N1 the primary turns of the transformer, I2 the secondary current (usually 5A or 1A), and N2 the secondary turns, Z2e the impedance of the secondary circuit equipment and connecting wires. When the primary current flows into the P1 terminal and out of the P2 terminal, with the secondary Z2e connected, due to electromagnetic induction principles, the secondary winding of the current transformer has a current I2 flowing from S1 through Z2e to S2, forming a closed loop. Therefore, in an ideal state, I1×N1=I2×N2, hence I1/I2=N1/N2=K, where K is the transformation ratio of the current transformer.
