Heat Exchanger Core Introduction

The heat exchange core is an energy-saving device for energy recovery in air conditioning exhaust. Its main components include the shell, the heat exchange core, and the filter. Due to the use of materials with thermal conduction and permeability in the heat exchange core, it can pre-cool and dry the fresh air in summer and preheat and humidify the fresh air in winter when applied in the air conditioning system, significantly reducing the fresh air load. This saves energy consumption of the cooling and heating systems, and is highly beneficial for small-scale systems in terms of reducing operating costs and peak electricity consumption. Its full heat exchange efficiency is related to the structural characteristics of the heat exchange core, the airflow ratio through the core, and the inlet air parameters.

  Utilize the energy from indoor exhaust air to pre-cool (or heat) the outdoor fresh air being introduced, thereby reducing energy consumption of the ventilation system. Applying full heat exchangers to the central air conditioning system not only improves indoor air quality but also effectively reduces the fresh air load, diminishes the installed capacity of cooling and heating sources, enhances the operation efficiency of the air conditioning system, and saves on operational costs.

For the sake of both energy efficiency and comfort, a full heat exchanger is required that can perform heat exchange while also allowing for air exchange.

A representative full heat exchanger material, composed of specially processed partition and spacer plates. The air flow paths for intake and exhaust gases are completely separated by the partitions, preventing the mixing of intake and exhaust gases, ensuring a constant supply of fresh air. Through the special processing of the paper in the full heat exchanger material, it utilizes its thermal conductivity and moisture permeability properties to facilitate heat transfer (sensible heat) between intake and exhaust gases as they pass through the material; and it utilizes the moisture (latent heat) difference through the vapor pressure across the specially processed paper in the partition for full heat exchange.
