The industry of renting scissor lifts is growing, but as managers of scissor lifts, we are not only proficient in management but also well-versed in their internal structure. This not only makes our management easier, but also allows us to easily identify any damage to the lifts during the rental, collection, and delivery process.
Lift Truck Rentals: Due to the safety, cost-saving on labor, and wide operational range of lift trucks, their market acceptance has gradually increased in recent years. With the widespread use of lift trucks, to ensure safe driving, users should pay attention to the following details during operation:
Users of the lift should obtain the corresponding qualification before operating the vehicle.
2. Prior to commencing operations, ensure all safety measures are in place, confirm that all actions are safe, the lift vehicle can rise and lower naturally without any anomalies. For telescopic, articulated, and spider vehicles, also verify that all support legs are securely stabilized.
3. Ensure that the lifting and lowering vehicle's load is strictly controlled within the safe limit, and strictly prohibit overloading. After use, the vehicle should be promptly cleaned and parked in the designated area.
4. Regular maintenance and care should be performed, and timely charging and oil changes are required. Each user should carefully record and understand the vehicle's operating condition.
Operate the lift truck in accordance with the above procedures to maximize its functionality throughout its service life, paving the way for the smooth progress of various projects and work. Additionally, this ensures the lift truck better coordinates with the workers' various tasks.
Lift Truck Rental, Lift Truck Operation Manual:
1. Upon arrival at the work site, select a suitable parking spot. After parking, pull the car's brake handle tightly, shift the car's transmission to neutral, engage the power take-off gear, and let the oil pump run for over ten minutes to increase the hydraulic oil temperature.
2. Leg Adjustment: Operate the leg swivel valve handle to ensure the legs are firmly on the ground. Generally, it's advisable to lift the legs no higher than 30-40 mm.
3. Arm Operation: Control the up/down movement of the arms and the on-board rotation handle to position the work bucket at the required working location.
4. Lifting and lowering vehicle operation completed: Alternate the lowering of the upper and lower arms to reset, retract the support legs, disengage the power take-off box shift, stop the oil pump, release the hand brake, and the vehicle can shift gears and drive to the next work position. Both the upper and lower work arms are welded box-section structures. The upper arm overlaps the lower arm for installation, with the upper arm being a variable cross-section rod and the lower arm being a uniform cross-section rod. Depending on the structure and load requirements, longitudinal and transverse reinforcing plates or ribs are added at different positions. The upper arm is lifted and lowered by the lifting cylinder, while the lower arm is tilted by the variable reach cylinder. The working range can be freely adjusted within the permissible limits.
Lift Truck Rental, Safety Operating Procedures for Lift Trucks
1. Elevators should be regularly inspected for smooth up and down movement of the lifting frame, secure screws, and free from rust and frayed strands on the wire rope; ensure proper lubrication.
2. When using the lift truck, the stabilizer legs must be engaged, ensuring their stability. The truck's wheels should be off the ground to prevent the lift truck from sliding.
3. The lifting vehicle should be placed on a level surface. If the surface is uneven, the vehicle body should be leveled with supports. It is not permitted to use the lifting vehicle on steep slopes.
4. Personnel working on the top of the lift platform must operate within the guardrail; they are not allowed to straddle or stand on the guardrail.
5. No ladders or other elevated items are permitted on the top platform of the lift truck. When staff are leaning out to work, both feet must be on the ground; otherwise, the lift truck should be moved.
6. When the lift vehicle is raised, maintain the required safe distance from overhead power lines; the person responsible for manual lifting should ensure that their face is shielded on the side of the steel wire rope during operation to prevent danger in case of sudden rope breakage; the use of electric lifting vehicles outdoors during rain is prohibited.
7. Ensure the electric lifting platform has a good grounding, the protective sheath of the power cord must be intact, and copper wires should not be exposed; protective measures should be taken when the power cord crosses the road horizontally.
8. When personnel on the lift truck are transferring tools or materials, they should not throw them but use a rope to hoist; workers on the platform should prevent tools or materials from falling and injuring pedestrians.
Benefits of Forklift Rental and Operation:
1. The boom lift has minimal space constraints, allowing for flexible operations even in narrow high-rise buildings.
2. Due to the arm lift truck's working range typically being between 14-58 meters, it offers a broad height working range. Additionally, height adjustments can be made quickly and efficiently without consuming much time.
3. On a flat surface, the arm-type lift truck has a wider working range and a larger operational area.
Each boom lift comes equipped with a safety chain, ensuring complete safety for high-altitude operations.
