Planetary Gearbox Reduction Motor
I. Overview
Comprised of SZ(ZYT) series DC motors and PX type general precision planetary reducers, equipped with power supply, they offer stepless speed adjustment. They feature a wide adjustment range, compact size, light weight, high efficiency, and a tight structure with a large output torque. Widely used in driving devices requiring low speed and high torque with stepless speed adjustment, the motor, when paired with a speed controller, can achieve stepless speed variation from 0 to the rated speed.
The PX series of shaft-mounted gear reducers can be directly connected to AC motors, stepper motors, and various other motors.
The PX series can also be directly connected to worm gear reducers and cycloidal pinion reducers to form reducers with various speed ratios or high speed ratios.
Prevent internal motor short-circuiting, puncturing, and burning.
Section 2: Precautions for Electric Motors:
1. For motor internal water leakage issues, the handling should be differentiated based on the leakage location. If the display indicates water leakage in the isolation chamber, the motor can still operate, but preparations for motor maintenance should be made in advance. If the display shows water leakage inside the motor cavity, the motor operation must be immediately stopped for maintenance.
2. Monitor the motor's insulation resistance changes and regularly inspect the motor's insulation condition. Main factors for low motor insulation: water intrusion into the motor, metallic particles conducting electricity due to bearing wear, foreign conductive materials mixed into the hydraulic oil system, insulation paint peeling off, and rubbing between the rotor and stator, etc.
3. Operators in the control room should immediately initiate pump removal procedures upon detecting an alarm from the underwater pump electric shaft system during construction. Subsequently, implement measures such as reducing speed to stabilize the situation and promptly contact the on-duty crew in the engine room for timely resolution.
4. If an abrupt alarm is detected during the operation of the electric motor, the on-duty crew in the engine room should immediately manually disconnect the pump at the electric shaft control cabinet, then notify the bridge to take appropriate actions such as reducing speed, and inform the electrician to arrive and handle the inspection.
Section 3: Features
With the improvement of production levels, in recent years, it has been selected among the numerous small-displacement motors and has now become a general-purpose submersible motor for deep and shallow well pump drives. Its structure features an extremely thin cylinder called a shielding sleeve, which is set inside the stator for protecting the electrical components of the motor. The insulation from water is achieved through the motor housing and the shielding sleeve. Heat-resistant insulation is provided by insulating materials like epoxy resin inside the sleeve. Unlike the previous two types, the electrical components of this motor do not come into direct contact with water. In this type of motor, ordinary enameled wire is typically used for the winding, while the shielding sleeve is made of approximately 0.15-0.25mm thick Austenitic stainless steel material to reduce eddy current losses within the sleeve. Due to the presence of the shielding sleeve, the air gap of this motor is larger than that of other types, which affects its power factor.
