Expanded polystyrene is a material continuously extruded through a special process to form foam, with a smooth and even hard film on the surface and a closed-cell foam structure that is uniform and continuous, resembling a honeycomb. It boasts high compressive strength, light weight, water-resistant, breathable, wear-resistant, and non-degradable properties.

II. Key Features
Compared to EPS polystyrene foam board, it boasts significantly improved properties such as strength, thermal insulation, and resistance to moisture vapor penetration. It can maintain its thermal insulation and compressive strength even when submerged, making it particularly suitable for building insulation, thermal preservation, and moisture-proof treatments. It is one of the cost-effective construction materials in today's construction industry.
Insulation performance
Thermal conductivity not exceeding 0.028 W/mK, significantly lower than other insulating materials (materials with a thermal conductivity less than 0.25 W/mK are commonly used as insulating materials in engineering). As a result, it features high thermal resistance and low linear expansion rate. It is widely used in roof insulation and heat preservation systems, cold storage facilities, and external and internal wall insulation.
(2) Absorbency
As a comprehensive thermal insulation material, water absorption rate is a crucial technical indicator. High water absorption can lead to reduced insulating performance. Extruded polystyrene (XPS) boards feature a complete closed-cell structure with no gaps on either side of the board, preventing moisture from seeping in during conditions like leaks, condensation, and freezing/thawing cycles. This effectively blocks the entry of water molecules, thus preventing the boards from aging and maintaining their insulating properties over time, which would otherwise lead to the need for repair of the thermal structure layer. The closed-cell structure of XPS boards effectively prevents the penetration of water molecules (including water vapor), even if mechanically damaged during installation. Due to their tightly packed honeycomb structure, XPS boards maintain low water absorption properties. With effective prevention of water molecule penetration and their non-hydrophilic nature, aging is almost impossible, making them nearly as long-lasting as the building itself.
(3) Insulation performance
Low thermal conductivity is a necessary condition for all insulating materials. XPS boards are made from polystyrene (PS), which is well-known as an insulating material. Moreover, the extrusion process creates a tightly closed-cell honeycomb structure that effectively prevents heat conduction.
(4) Compression Resistance
XPS extruded board is a lightweight, high-strength material with a compressive strength exceeding 350KPa even when the density does not exceed 40kg per cubic meter. Its use in construction provides excellent impact resistance. The compressive properties of XPS remain almost unchanged even when soaked in water—a feature not found in other insulation materials.

Due to its lightweight nature, it is easy to handle, cut, and does not require an electric saw. It can be simply fixed with iron sheets, wires, and plastic adhesives or polymer mortar, significantly reducing the cost of construction.

Goods Handover
1. Our logistics primarily rely on auto transportation. Shipping fees are collect or self-pickup. If you require us to handle it, please inform us in advance.
2. Pick-up requires valid identification for the recipient. Our products are carefully inspected before shipment. Customers are kindly requested to inspect the goods upon pick-up, verifying the quantity and quality of the items. In case of any product issues, please contact us promptly. We add insurance to菠萝格 shipments. Upon the logistics company returning the goods, we will reship them.
3. Once received, any claims for discrepancies in quantity or damage due to human error will not be entertained without the submission of damaged photos within 48 hours. We apologize for any inconvenience and kindly request your understanding. As the products are large items, please inspect the goods carefully upon receipt.
4. Freight to collect; logistics delivery only to the local pickup point. Additional delivery fees from the pickup point to your doorstep must be negotiated with the logistics company separately. Please note that logistics does not handle moving; you may discuss moving arrangements with the logistics company. If the goods are signed for by friends, family, guards, or the reception desk, it is considered that you have accepted the received items and confirmed they are correct.
