Expanded polystyrene is a material formed by continuously extruding foam through a special process. Its surface forms a hard film that is even and flat, with a continuous closed-cell foam structure that resembles a honeycomb. This results in high compressive strength, lightweight, waterproof, airtight, wear-resistant, and non-degradable properties.

II. Key Features
Compared to EPS polystyrene foam board, it boasts significantly improved properties such as strength, insulation, and resistance to moisture vapor penetration. It can maintain its insulation and compressive strength even when immersed in water, making it particularly suitable for building insulation, heat preservation, and moisture-proof treatments. It is one of the cost-effective construction materials favored in the modern construction industry.
Insulation performance
Thermal conductivity not exceeding 0.028 W/mK, significantly lower than other insulating materials (materials with a thermal conductivity less than 0.25 W/mK are typically considered insulating materials in engineering). Therefore, it features high thermal resistance and low linear expansion rate. It is widely used in roof insulation and heat preservation systems, cold storage, and thermal insulation of walls both inside and out.
Absorbency
As a complete thermal insulation material, water absorption rate is a crucial technical indicator. High water absorption can lead to decreased insulation performance. Extruded polystyrene (XPS) boards feature a complete closed-cell structure, with no gaps on either side of the board, preventing moisture from penetrating through leaks, condensation, or freeze-thaw cycles. This effectively blocks water molecules from entering, thus preventing the boards from aging and ensuring that the insulation layer maintains its function over time. Eventually, this could necessitate the repair of the insulation structure. The closed-cell structure of XPS boards effectively blocks the penetration of water molecules (including vapor), even if mechanically damaged during installation. Due to their dense, honeycomb-like structure, XPS boards can maintain their low water absorption properties. With effective blockage of water molecules and non-hydrophilic nature, aging is almost impossible, and they can nearly match the lifespan of the building.

Low thermal conductivity is a necessary condition for all insulating materials. XPS boards are made from polystyrene (PS), which is well-known as an insulating material. Moreover, the extrusion process creates a tightly closed-cell honeycomb structure that more effectively prevents heat conduction.
(4) Compressive Strength
XPS extruded board is a lightweight, high-strength panel, with compressive strength exceeding 350 KPa even when the density does not exceed 40 kg per cubic meter. Its use in buildings yields excellent impact resistance. The compressive properties of XPS extruded board are almost unchanged even when soaked in water—a feature not found in other insulation materials.

Goods Handover
1. Our logistics primarily rely on auto transportation. Shipping fees are collect or self-collection. If you require us to handle it, please inform us in advance.
2. Pick-up requires valid identification from the recipient. Our products are carefully inspected before shipment. Please inspect the quantity and quality of the goods upon pick-up. If there are any product issues, please contact us promptly. We add insurance for菠萝格 shipments. After the logistics company returns the goods, we will reship them.
3. Once received, we are not responsible for discrepancies in quantity or damage caused by human error if the damage pictures are not provided within 48 hours of receipt. Please understand, as the products are large items, and also carefully inspect the goods upon receipt.
4. Freight to collect; logistics delivery is only to the local collection point. The shipping fee from the collection point to your doorstep must be negotiated with the logistics company separately. Additionally, note that logistics does not handle moving; you may discuss moving arrangements with the logistics company. If someone else, such as a friend, family member, doorman, or receptionist, signs for the delivery, it is considered that you have accepted the received goods and verified them to be correct.
