Detailed Description:
Fire-resistant ductwork is a piping system used for air transportation and distribution. It comes in two types: composite ductwork and inorganic ductwork. Durkduct ductwork represents the composite type. Ducts can be categorized by cross-sectional shape and material. The manufacturing of stainless steel ductwork involves applying sealant (such as neutral silicone) to gaps such as the joint seam, rivet seam, and flange corner edges. Surfaces should be cleaned of dust and oil before applying the sealant. Depending on the cross-sectional shape, ducts can be circular, rectangular, flat circular, and more. Circular ducts have less resistance but larger height dimensions and are more complex to manufacture, so rectangular ducts are primarily used. By material, ducts can be classified into metal ductwork, composite ductwork, and polymer ductwork.
