Seamless steel tubes are pipes made from a solid piece of metal without any joints on the surface. According to the production method, seamless tubes are categorized into hot-rolled, cold-rolled, cold drawn, extruded, and jacked tubes, among others. Based on cross-sectional shape, they are divided into round and shaped tubes, with shaped tubes including square, elliptical, triangular, hexagonal, pumpkin-shaped, star-shaped, and winged tubes in various complex shapes. Diameters range from 0.3mm to 650mm. Depending on the application, they are classified into thick-walled and thin-walled tubes. Seamless steel tubes are primarily used as drilling pipes for oil and gas geological exploration, cracking pipes for petrochemical use, boiler tubes, bearing tubes, and high-precision structural steel tubes for automotive, tractor, and aviation applications.
