Properties: White, glossy crystals, granules, or powder.At 86.5°C, it loses part of its crystalline water to form a white powder. Decomposes into aluminum oxide at approximately 600°C. Soluble in water, almost insoluble in ethanol, and the solution is acidic.
Application Fields
1. Used as analytical reagents.
2. Used as a buffer in sulfuric acid zinc plating to stabilize the pH of the plating solution, also applicable in acid zinc and cadmium plating electrolytes.
3. Also used for lithium battery materials, electronic chemicals, high-glue clay toys, and in leathermaking, papermaking, and pharmaceutical industries.
